Kathy Moser is an award-winning songwriter, engaging performer, and passionate environmentalist, dedicated to bringing positive change to the world through making music both on and off stage. Her music is sourced in an array of musical styles, from folk to jazz to rock. Her lyrics emanate from an inner muse grounded in her own personal and spiritual growth, in addition to her love affairs with Planet Earth, people and music. Her songs may overtly deal with traffic jams, lawn mowers, recovery, and politics, but at their core they are about loving ourselves and everyone around us.
Kathy is a beloved fixture in the North Jersey acoustic music community. Since her introduction to folk at Girl Scout camp, she’s been heavily involved in the area’s coffeehouse, festival, spiritual, and recovery scenes. She has taught guitar, bass, drums, and songwriting locally, and she was a core member of the band Wings Over Water. Moser has performed at the Troubadour Acoustic Concert Series, Common Ground Coffeehouse, the Sierra Club, and Drew University, among many other Jersey venues.
Kathy Moser is the rare performer whose heart is bigger than any stage. To hear her is to love her.
