Andrew Dunn is a beloved performer in Folk Project circles, a Stayaway veteran, and the kind of person that chips in when the chips are down. Andrew is filling in last minute for us, and we appreciate that as much as we appreciate his heartwarming music and excellent performances.

Dunn is a North Jersey singer-songwriter whose wit, heart, and infectious melodies evoke memorable images and stories. His keen and often surprising observations deconstruct life’s complexities. His songs frame the largest theatre-of-life events with the smallest of everyday moments, using the simplest words to construct beautiful, grand, and meaningful songs.

Andrew received a music education degree at Rowan University and spent over a decade teaching. He was a finalist in both the prestigious Kerrville Grassy Hill Songwriter’s Competition and the Great American Song Contest. Dunn became a favorite on the NJ folk scene, featured regularly on the legendary stages of The Folk Project and Godfrey Daniels. He worked on a songwriting compilation with John Gorka, the preeminent songwriter of that time. He’s opened for folk icon Judy Collins and shared the stage with veteran songwriters Antje Duvekot, Jackie Tice Gregg Cagno, Bill Hall, and former Melanie sideman Ron Heacock.

Andrew Dunn is a beloved performer in Folk Project circles and beyond. Don’t miss this chance to get an audio hug from this gracious and compassionate gentleman and friend.
